I find that if you look for something positive in every event and person in your life, you will push the depression away easier. It is the negative thinking that makes it worse or prevents it from going away. Find something positive and focus on that. Let your cycle of thoughts circle that instead of the negative ones that drag you down. Get some exercise and fresh air. That helps too. The more you drag around, the harder it will be to get away from depression. If you want help, you must try to help yourself. nobody can turn it around better than you can. As you practice positive thinking it gets easier. Happiness is better than depression, so work for it. Keep trying.Do not give up. It will be worth the fight to get away from the depression May 2010
